Test Writing: Squirrel Play

Imported By: Geoffrey Challen
/ Version: 2021.6.0

The squirrels spend most of their time playing. In particular, they play if the temperature is between 60 and 90, inclusive. Unless it is summer, then the upper limit is 100 instead of 90. Given an int temperature and a boolean isSummer, return true if the squirrels are playing and false otherwise.

Test Design Challenge

You're challenge is to write tests for this problem described above.

  • Provide a method named test that accepts no arguments and does not return a value.
  • If the implementation of the class described above is incorrect, your test method should throw an exception.
  • If it is correct, do not throw an exception.
  • You may want to use Kotlin's assert or check methods
fun squirrelPlay(
temperature: Int,
isSummer: Boolean,
): Boolean {
return false // You may need to remove this starter code
}
