Test Writing: Parrot Trouble

Imported By: Geoffrey Challen
/ Version: 2021.4.0

We have a loud talking parrot. The hour parameter is the current hour time in the range 0 to 23, inclusive. We are in trouble if the parrot is talking and the hour is before 7 or after 20. Return true if we are in trouble.

Test Design Challenge

You're challenge is to write tests for this problem described above.

  • Provide a method named test that accepts no arguments and does not return a value.
  • If the implementation of the class described above is incorrect, your test method should throw an exception.
  • If it is correct, do not throw an exception.
  • You may want to use Kotlin's assert or check methods
fun parrotTrouble(
isTalking: Boolean,
hour: Int,
): Boolean {
return false // You may need to remove this starter code
}
