Test Writing: Course Getters and Setters

Created By: Geoffrey Challen
/ Version: 2020.9.0

Create a public class named Course. Course should store two pieces of data: a name (as a String?) using the property name and an enrollment (as an Int) using the property enrollment. Provide a constructor that allows both properties to be set, with the name first. The name property should be publicly readable but not publicly writable, while enrollment should be both publicly readable and writable. Finally, reject negative enrollment values and null names.

Test Design Challenge

You're challenge is to write tests for this problem described above.

  • Provide a public class named TestCourse with a single non-private class method named test that accepts no arguments and does not return a value.
  • If the implementation of the class described above is incorrect, your test method should throw an exception.
  • If it is correct, do not throw an exception.
  • You may want to use Kotlin's assert or check methods
