Test Writing: Two Char

Imported By: Geoffrey Challen
/ Version: 2021.6.0

Given a String and an int index, return the substring of length 2 starting at the given index in the passed String. If the index is too big or too small to define a valid substring, use the first 2 characters. The string length will be at least 2.

Test Design Challenge

You're challenge is to write tests for this problem described above.

  • Provide a method named test that accepts no arguments and does not return a value.
  • If the implementation of the class described above is incorrect, your test method should throw an exception.
  • If it is correct, do not throw an exception.
  • You may want to use Java's assert method
String twoChar(String str, int index) {
return ""; // You may need to remove this starter code
}
