Test Writing: Evenly Spaced

Imported By: Geoffrey Challen
/ Version: 2021.7.0

Given three ints, one of them small, one medium, and one large, return true if the three values are evenly spaced: So the difference between small and medium is the same as the difference between medium and large. For example, the values 2, 4, 6 and 6, 4, 2, and 4, 6, 2 are all evenly spaced, but 4, 6, 3 are not.

Test Design Challenge

You're challenge is to write tests for this problem described above.

  • Provide a method named test that accepts no arguments and does not return a value.
  • If the implementation of the class described above is incorrect, your test method should throw an exception.
  • If it is correct, do not throw an exception.
  • You may want to use Java's assert method
boolean evenlySpaced(int first, int second, int third) {
return false; // You may need to remove this starter code
}
